The PL2 boys have booked to play in the Mallacoota Cup this long weekend. They are short up to 6 players…even more would be great. Players from other clubs are welcome.

A few details of the upcoming Mallacoota Cup that we are entering a team in:

It’s a 12 team round robin tournament on the NSW/VIC border that runs over the Oct long weekend.

The dates you will be away are three nights. Friday the 30th of September through to the 2nd of Oct.

It’s a cracking location, you basically camp there right next to the grounds. Next to a beach. Facilities all there, showers,kitchen,BBQ etc. Park has a huge club house there which will put on nights for both AFL and NRL Grand Finals that weekend. Also it’s a ‘one pub’ town so the opening night (Friday) is usually a lot of fun there.

We have already covered the entry fee so the only costs will be your camping fees (minimal), petrol, what you drink and food.

The bigger the group the better. Feel free to invite people that don’t play also if they just want to come down for the camping/going out.

This is something we want to do every year. Hopefully a new traditional at our football club.
